We take great care in selecting the products we offer in our meat case and are connected with the farms and ranches that supply them. We believe you should have choices in what you feed your family and you should feel good about those choices.

Stop by SALT and you’ll see a rotating lineup of specialty sausages we make fresh in-house, like green chile cheese brats or mango habanero sausage. For real steak aficionados, we do our own dry-aging in house or you can reserve a custom dry-aged steak. Additionally, the market has a collection of seasonings, sauces, and sides to complete your meal.

LOCAL PORK

SALT Owners Ralph & Jordan Hinton raise pigs locally in Elbert County. Raising animals is a big responsibility and we take great care in this task. If you have any questions about how our animals are raised, this is the perfect place to ask! The pork is featured in our meat case at SALT and seasonly we offer local pork bundles.

LOCAL BEEF

We are partnering with local Douglas County & Colorado ranchers to offer both 100% Grass Finished and Pasture Raised + Grain Finished beef cuts in our meat case and freezer. Our beef is sustainably-raised on pasture with no added hormones. Feel free to ask our butchers for recommended cuts!

COLORADO Lamb

Nick & Karen Maneotis own Maneotis Ranch on Colorado’s Western Slope. Nick Maneotis carries on his family’s legacy as a third generation sheep rancher from Craig, Colorado. We are excited to carry their all-natural lamb born & raised right here in Colorado.

PREMIUM BEEF

We aim to be transparent in everything we do, which includes explaining to customers that we sell more steaks (also called “middle meats”) than the rest of the whole beef. To do that, we bring in the highest quality steaks that we can source, which primarily come from Creekstone Farms (KS) and Harris Ranch Beef (CA).

All of our steaks are USDA High Choice & Prime, the same quality you will find at high-end restaurants

Verlasso Salmon, Scallops, Sushi-Grade Tuna, Salmon, Mahi, Swordfish, and more! We want to make sure it’s as fresh as possible, so call or stop by to order by 4pm and it’ll be delivered by our supplier the next morning. We typically have frozen seafood in stock as well.

Chicken, TURKEY, VEAL, Wild GAME & OTHER CUTS

Veal, Turkey, Bison, and Elk are typically in stock in our freezers. We source chicken from Joyce Farms as well as some Kansas farms. We can typically order most any cut of meat, call or stop by to discuss with our team.

Note: We do not offer wild game processing, but can provide pork or beef fat if you are making your own wild game sausage!
